The ability to proactively manage risk enables businesses
to capitalize on opportunity rather than chasing their tail putting
out fires
makes small business run well, according to small business guru,
author and risk management expert Brad Forsythe. “All too
often, an entrepreneur gets involved with a business because it
is their passion, then they quickly find out that they must spend
the majority of time dealing with non core competencies.” Forsythe
says that by having a proactive plan in place that mitigates risks
that keep focus away from the passion is the easiest and least
costly way to ensure consistency and small business growth.
